To shorten a search processing time for a base station until a radio communication device in a radio communication system is connected with a base station device.

Based on a received signal received from the base station device, the radio communication device investigates four qualifications such as: whether a received signal strength is beyond or at a reference value; whether a communication system can be communicated; whether a receiving quality is beyond or at a reference value; and whether a base station can be utilized, in this qualification order. If any base station device satisfying all qualifications is found out, the base station device is determined as a connection station, and searches of other base stations are closed.
