The fast-searching radio receiver which becomes ready fast to receive a broadcasting wave of one frequency among many broadcasting waves is provided with reception parts I and II which receive a plurality of broadcasts and a plurality of PLL circuits 14 and 24 provided for the reception parts I and II, respectively. A control part 30 sets a plurality of different frequencies among many broadcasting waves to the PLL circuits 14 and 24 and continues the frequency setting to the PLL circuits 14 and 24 sequentially until one of the set broadcasting wave is captured.
