A moving amount detecting part 203 uses a first image and a second image each obtained within exposure time to calculate the moving amount α of the examinee between both the images. An image processing part 209 refers to the inputted moving amount α and outputs one between an image generated by a downscan and upscan processing part 204 and an image generated by an addition processing part 205 to a display part (display device) 206. The downscan and upscan processing part 204 generates an image obtained by applying downscan and upscan processing to the first image. The addition processing part 205 generates an average image between the first and second images.
