Abstract:
To provide a traverser for a railway vehicle which comprises a truck loading and unloading mechanism that can load and unload a railway vehicle and a non-self-propelled vehicle truck.SOLUTION: In a traverser 100 for a railway vehicle comprising a base part 101 to load a railway vehicle 10 or a vehicle truck 20 and a movable rail 107 installed on the base part 101, the base part 101 has side wall parts 102 erected from both side faces of the base part. On the side wall parts 102, at least a pair of pull-in arms 121 to hold a vehicle truck 20 and direct-acting motion mechanisms 122 for the pull-in arms 121 to proceed from and to recede to the ends of the base part 101 in the extrusive and containable form, are installed. The pull-in arms 121 have horizontal rotation mechanisms in which holding mechanisms 121a at top parts of the arms bend inwards and vertical rotation mechanisms in which the holding mechanisms 121a rotate up and down in the vertical direction, and at end parts of the base part 101 tongue rails 108 which extend the movable rail 107 and are formed to taper-off are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
