Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood which enables an oil content in exhaust to be easily recovered.SOLUTION: A range hood is mounted with a detachable oil tray to recover oil which adheres to a fan casing storing an exhaust fan and flows down the same. Then, the exhaust fan is operated in a maintenance operation mode in which the same is rotated at a rotation speed higher than normal exhaust operation in a manner that drives the exhaust fan with a backflow prevention damper kept at a closed position, to close an exhaust passage, by energizing an electric magnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
