Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw pellet for an iron ore calcinated pellet capable of recycling chips without pulverization and being used for manufacturing the iron ore calcinated pellet with high strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a raw pellet consisting of a fine powdered raw material having particle diameter by a screening method of 1 mm or less which has a double structure constituted by a core and a coating layer coating around the same, where the core consists of chip having particle diameter by the screening method of over 1 mm and less than 8 mm generated in an iron ore calcinated pellet manufacturing process and moisture of 1 to 3 mass% by outer percentage of the chip, the coating layer consists of a magnetite ore only, or contains magnetite ore of 75 mass% or more and less than 100 mass% by dry amount basis and the balance hematite ore and at least one kind of auxiliary material, and moisture of [7.0+10.8/Df] mass% to [16.0+20.0/Df] mass% by outer percentage of the fine powdered raw material.
