PURPOSE: To improve shaving characteristics of a blade unit by winding a metal wire around a plastic body and extending respective winding wires at mutual intervals parallel to a shaving direction within the range of the pressing face of the razor blade unit to the skin.

CONSTITUTION: This razor blade unit for a wet shaving apparatus is composed of a plastic body 1, two razor blades 2 and 2' are fitted into this plastic body, and cutting edges 3 and 3' of these razor blades are extended parallel to each other while being shifted. A wire 4 is wound around the plastic body 1 together with the razor blades 2 and 2'. These winding wires are extended at mutual intervals. The wire 4 is made of metal and in order to prevent the winding of the wire 4 from being deviated on the plastic body 1, this plastic body is provided with a groove 5 partially at least. Thus, required shaving resistance is minimized.
