Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of improving image quality of a radiation image read from an imaging plate.SOLUTION: A reading apparatus for reading a radiation image from an imaging plate comprises: a placing member on which the imaging plate is placed; and a conveying mechanism for conveying the placing member. The conveying mechanism comprises: a support member for supporting the placing member; and a feed screw that is screwed into a screw hole provided on the support member and moves the support member. Further the conveying mechanism has: a guide member that extends in a direction parallel to an axial direction of the feed screw and guides the support member; and an energizing member that energizes a portion to be guided, which is guided by the guide member provided on the support member, toward the guide member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
