Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device capable of preventing leakage of electric waves in a housing to the outside.SOLUTION: A reading device for reading information from an RFID tag attached on an article includes: a housing having an opening through which the article is taken in and out which and a housing chamber for housing the article therein; a door for opening/closing the opening; a detection part being provided at a portion of the housing which is in contact with the door or becomes close to the door in a closed state of the door and detecting opening/closing of the door; an antenna being provided in the housing and reading information from the RFID tag of the article housed in the housing chamber in the closed state of the door; and a shielding part for shielding electric waves leaking from an inside to an outside of the housing at the portion where the detection part is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
