Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process the internal circumference of a hole more smoothly than before through the use of a reamer.
SOLUTION: A surface 134, which functions as the flank of a tip 64, is formed in an outwardly facing position along a partial, convex cylindrical face 136, and a fore-front face 130, which is a rake face of the surface, is slanted so that the more forwardly position some part is located, the more it is departed form the tip. As the largest diametrical portion 142 of the partial cylindrical face contacts the internal circumference face of a bored hole 156, the cutting edge corresponding to the arrangement contacts the internal circumference face, making the post-processing internal circumference 160 face smoother than in other cases.
