To provide a rebuilt veneer for a plywood, which is obtained by ripping off a log-like formed body formed by aggregating and bonding wood pieces coated with an adhesive, and its manufacturing method, and the manufacturing method of a plywood from the rebuilt veneers.
The front and rear surface of wood pieces 1, which are obtained at the formation of a common veneer for a plywood by cutting and ripping a log wood, are coated with an adhesive by a roll coater or the like. These wood pieces are made uniform and accumulated in a wood mold. After that, this deposit, on which a lid is placed, is placed as it is between the forming plates of a compression forming machine so as to be pressed for a proper period of time under the pressure of about 40-50 kg/cm2 and the released and left still as it is in order to cure the deposit in the wood mold and fully harden the adhesive. The obtained log-like formed body is ripped with a rotary lathe so as to a rebuilt veneer. By properly laminating and bonding these rebuilt veneers, a plywood is obtained.
