PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize receiver configuration for receiving a transmitted signal by multi-coded pulse modulation and repetitively decoding.
SOLUTION: The receiver configuration in an ultra-wideband wireless system includes: (1) a pulse correlator for correlating with all of predetermined transmitted pulse waveforms; (2) a pulse demapper for calculating the log likelihood ratio of a coded word interleaved in the output of the pulse correlator with respect to each bit for de-mapping; (3) a de-interleaver for deinterleaving the output from the pulse de-mapper; (4) a decoder for calculating each likelihood information on the coded word which has been de-interleaved and the information bit for decoding; (5) an interleaver for interleaving the output from the decoder similarly to the transmitting side; and (6) a feedback circuit for feeding back the output from the interleaver to the pulse de-mapper as preliminary information.
