Abstract:

To provide a receiving device, receiving method, and program that can suppress power consumption while preventing deterioration in reception performance.

A receiving device (200) for performing communication by MIMO transmission comprises: a channel estimation unit (205) for obtaining a channel estimation value and a noise power estimation value performing channel estimation and noise power estimation; a reception scheme selection unit (206) for selecting one MIMO reception scheme from multiple MIMO reception schemes on the basis of the channel estimation value and the noise power estimation value; and a signal detection unit (207) for detecting a transmission signal by use of the selected MIMO reception scheme.
