Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect content in accordance with an application style in digital broadcasting using an IP transmission system.SOLUTION: A control section uses a work key (Kw) acquired in accordance with LLS that is transmitted in a first layer in layers of a protocol of the IP transmission system by means of a broadcast wave of digital broadcasting using the IP transmission system and decodes a scrambled key (Ks) acquired in accordance with SCS that is transmitted in a second layer higher than the first layer. A descrambler uses the decoded scramble key (Ks) to decrypt an encrypted component forming a specific service included in a BBP stream obtained from the broadcast wave. The present technology may be applicable to e.g., a television receiver.
