To provide a reception apparatus and multi-functional reception apparatus capable of shading an unwanted signal by surely shielding a signal line, a reception circuit board and a ground of the reception apparatus in a shortest distance.

The reception apparatus comprises a tuner chassis 30 and a substrate 50 which is provided within the tuner chassis 30, and in which a high frequency signal flows, and an input cable 20 provided with a frame connecting part 22 around the signal line is connected to the substrate 50. The substrate 50 comprises a connector 10 for connecting the input cable 20, and the tuner chassis 30 is formed with an opening 32 for passing the input cable 20 therethrough. The opening 32 is formed with a cable GND connecting part 31 for connecting the frame connecting part 22 of the input cable 20 and the tuner chassis 30, so that the tuner chassis 30 and a ground line of the substrate 50 can be connected via a ground line of the input cable 20 from the cable GND connecting part 31 to the connector 10.
