Title:
RECEPTION LEVEL DETECTING SYSTEM FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2799537
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extremely decrease the number of necessary buffer memories for averaging of them and to follow a sudden change of the reception level.
CONSTITUTION: A detector means 1 discretely detects the reception level value 6, and a block averaging means 2 outputs the block average value 7 obtained by averaging the value 6 accumulated from the start of detection every prescribed number of blocks. An adder means 3 adds together the value 6 for each input of them at and after the start of detection and outputs these added value 6. A subtractor means 4 subtracts the value 7 of the immediately precedent block for input of the value 6 from the output of the means 3 and outputs the result of subtraction. Then a reception level averaging means 5 divides the output of the means 4 by a prescribed number of blocks and outputs the average reception level.
