Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception time calculation apparatus capable of calculating the sound wave reception time without error, by dynamically setting, as an appropriate value responding to an environmental change or the like, a threshold used when the reception time of a sound wave is calculated using a cross correlation function.SOLUTION: A receiving unit 1 receives a sound wave and acquires received sound wave data. A correlation function calculation unit 2 calculates a cross correlation function between the received sound wave data and a reference signal for each predetermined section. An analysis unit 3 determines, as the reception time of the reference signal, the time when the cross correlation function exceeds a threshold and provides a first peak in the cross correlation function. A threshold setting unit 4 sets the threshold used in the analysis unit 3, on the basis of the cross correlation function when the analysis unit 3 does not determine the reception time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
