Title:
RECIPROGATING COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0842454
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce overcompression and suppress generation of noise due to the vibration of a compressor.

CONSTITUTION: Since mutually adjacent bores 11a 11e are communicated to each other by pressure regulating passage 30a-30e provided on a face opposing to a valve plate of a cylinder block 1, gas flows from the bore on high pressure side to the bore on low pressure side in accordance with a difference in pressure of the adjacent bores. At the final stage of compression stroke and in a discharge stroke of the bore 11a, a minute quantity of gas flows out from the bore 11a into the bore 11e which has finished the compression stroke and is in an expansion stroke through the communicating passage 30e, and a minute quantity of gas flows out from the bore 11a into the bore 11b which is at the initial stage of compression stroke through the communicating passage 30a. Consequently, it is possible to reduce the quantity of gas which is excessively compressed within the bore 11a by the quantity of gas which flows into the bores 11e, 11b and reduce a peak value (the maximum pressure value) of pressure within the bores at the time of excessive compression than before.
