Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability relating to switchover of modes of an operation target device in response to a gesture.SOLUTION: A recognition device comprises an acquisition unit, a calculation unit, a determination unit, and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires positions of a specific region of an object in time series. The calculation unit calculates a feature quantity of a motion of the specific region from the positions acquired in time series. The determination unit determines a magnitude relation between the calculated feature quantity and a first threshold and a magnitude relation between the calculated feature quantity and a second threshold smaller than the first threshold. The control unit controls display processing for a notification that a recognition method for the position or motion of the specific region is possibly switched if the feature quantity is not less than the second threshold and less than the first threshold.
