PURPOSE: To prevent the oscillation of record disc on the turntable, by keeping the gap between the record disc and the turntable at a negative pressure.

CONSTITUTION: The gap 3 between the turntable 1 and the record disc 2 is connected to the vacuum pump 7 via the groove 4 cut on the table 1, pipe 5 and hollow shaft 6, and when the record disc 2 is placed on the table 1, the air in the air chamber 8 is excluded with the pump 7 and the air pressure in the gap 3 is kept negative in comparison with the atmosphere 10. A negative pressure of about 1/200atm. is sufficient enough for the purpose and the oscillation of the record disc 2 as well as the slip between the record disc 2 and the turntable 1 can be prevented.
