Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a technique by which recording can be performed while keeping preferable image quality regardless of whether a preceding sheet overlaps with a subsequent sheet or not.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: feeding means that feeds a recording sheet loaded on a loading portion; conveying means that conveys the recording sheet fed by the feeding means; recording means that performs recording on the recording sheet to be conveyed by the conveying means; and control means that controls a movement of conveyance of the recording sheet so that a rear end of a preceding sheet, a recording sheet to be fed precedingly from the loading portion overlaps with a front end of a subsequent sheet, a recording sheet to be fed subsequently from the loading portion. The control means controls amounts in conveyance of the recording sheets depending on whether or not the rear end of the preceding sheet overlaps with the front end of the subsequent sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
