Abstract:
To provide a technique of data recording with guaranteed minimum recording speed on non-volatile storage.SOLUTION: A recording device records data on non-volatile storage in a recording mode that guarantees the minimum recording speed. The non-volatile storage has a memory that performs data recording conforming to the NVMe standard. The memory has multiple recording units; each recording unit consists of multiple partial recording units; and the recording speed is guaranteed for continuous data recording to each recording unit. A second type of write command out of the write commands sent from the recording device to the non-volatile storage includes specifying a value that the actual data cannot take as the data length of the data to be recorded and/or specifying a position where the actual data cannot be recorded as a position to start data recording.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
