Abstract:
To provide a recording device capable of recording an image of excellent quality, even when different kinds of image elements exist in the image of one page.SOLUTION: A recording device 100 includes: a recording head 103 on which a plurality of recording elements are arrayed; and head driving means 208 and 216 for driving the recording elements of the recording head. The head driving means divide the plurality of recording elements provided on the recording head into a plurality of recording element groups consisting of one or more plural recording elements, and drive the plurality of recording element groups according to a time-division drive system. In addition, the head driving means perform switching to a different time-division drive system during recording operation of one page.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
