Abstract:
To restrict reduction in productivity of a binding process compared to the case where the moving speed of the teeth used in the binding process remains unchanged.SOLUTION: A recording media processor includes: first teeth to be used in a process of binding a recording medium bundle; second teeth to be moved towards the first teeth to press the recording medium bundle located between the first teeth and the second teeth; and moving means that includes screw moving means for moving the second teeth by circumferentially rotating a screw meshed with an interlocking portion interlocked with the second teeth and that moves the second teeth with respect to the first teeth. A moving speed of the second teeth being moved by the moving means is varied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
