Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration on a head and to prevent a track jump by supplying a drive current for a set time at every one micro-step of a stepping motor and supplying the current smaller than the drive current and generating torque larger than detent torque after the lapse of set time.
SOLUTION: Servo control by a track servo part of a stepping motor moving a head in the radial direction of a disk is performed by current control signals Sa, Sb supplied to a drive circuit. The current control signals Sa, Sb outputted from a control circuit are formed by the current control signal being a prescribed level S only for a prescribed time t shorter than T in one micro-step section T and becoming the level s lower than the level S after the time t elapses. By constituting in such a manner, drive power consumption is reduced, and acceleration at a rotating time, at a stopping time are reduced.
