To provide a recording sheet having a superior shelf life with no smears, high pressure sensitive and heat sensitive coloring concentration, superior sensitivity, and formable like a roll, in regard to a recording sheet having recording layer capable of carrying out pressure sensitive recording and heat sensitive recording wherein a layer provided with the recording layer capable of carrying out pressure sensitive recording and heat sensitive recording and another layer further provided with a heat sensitive recording layer are bonded by a pseudo-bonding layer.

The recording sheet is characterized by that it has a first layer provided with both a first base material layer and the recording layer capable of carrying out pressure sensitive recording and heat sensitive recording, and a second layer having at least a second base material layer, and an intermediate layer is provided between a pressure sensitive recording layer and a heat sensitive recording layer of the first layer, and the second layer is laminated on a recording lay of the first layer. The pseudo-bonding layer is formed by a wet laminating method.
