Abstract:

PURPOSE: To relax a shock generated when a flying object is recovered on a ground and to prevent the damage of the flying object by operating a gas generator when an altitude attains a low sky altitude and introducing generated gas in an air bag to expand the air bag after the gas is discharged in a bag body.
CONSTITUTION: When a small unmanned flying object in a navigating state is recovered, an engine is stopped by means of a radio command from a ground and a parachute contained in the upper part of a fuselage is simultaneously unfolded and the flying object is slowly lowered. When it is detected by an altitude detector 18 that an altitude attains a position approximate 2m high from a ground, a containing door 9 is opened and the igniter of a gas generator 2 is actuated to generate gas. When a generated gas pressure exceeds a given pressure, the gas is introduced in an air bag 6. When a gas pressure in the bag body 6 exceeds a given pressure, gas is discharged in an air bag 7 to expand the air bag. When the air bag 7 lands, a part of the gas is discharged through a gas discharge port 8 to relax a landing shock.
