PURPOSE: To easily and efficiently carry out the recovering work of a drying object such as shredded Japanese radish in the transfer of the object from a sun-drying bed to a drier.

CONSTITUTION: This recovery process is composed of (1) the 1st step to spread a sheet-formed drying object 6 on a floor and cover the object with a winding sheet material 7, (2) the 2nd step to form a rolled material R by rolling the winding sheet material 7 together with the sheet-formed drying object 6, (3) the 3rd step to pull up a cutting cord 2 or a belt preparatorily placed between the surface of the floor 1 and the sheet-formed drying object 6 at the prearranged cutting position of the sheet-formed drying object 6 or to roll the cutting cord 2 or belt in the winding end of the roll material R and pull the cord toward the outer circumferential side of the roll material to cut the sheet-formed drying object 6 rolled in the form of the roll material R from the remaining sheet-formed drying object 6 spread on the floor and (4) the 4th step to transport the roll material R, spread again on the shelf of a drier and remove the winding sheet material 7.
