Abstract:
PURPOSE:To promote efficiency of an energy recovery, by supplying a power generating apparatus with high temperature water generated in a cooling process and changing thermal energy into electric energy. CONSTITUTION:An energy recovery apparatus is constructed of a plurality of coolant tanks 5a-5c of a cooling device of hot rolled steel band coils, a storage tank 38, low temperature range thermostatic power generating apparatus 37 and so on. And liquid level detectors 50a-50c and temperature detectors 51a-51c are installed in liquid tanks 5a-5c, while a liquid detector 52 and a temperature detector 53 in a tank 38. The temperature of a high temperature water and the height of the liquid level are controlled to supply the power generating apparatus 37 with the high temperature water in the assigned volume, whereby electric power may be continuoulsly generated with a turbine 28 and a power generator 29.
