To provide recycling equipment for cemented carbide, which dispenses with remelting for obtaining blobs of recovered low melting metal to be used for the used hard metal recycling, and prevents the low melting metal from adhering to the inner wall of a vacuum vessel.
Recycling equipment 10 for hard metal is constituted such that used cemented carbide and low melting metal are heated in a vacuum vessel 11 to permit a binder of the cemented carbide to melt into the low melting metal, that the low melting metal is evaporated and directed to a recovery vessel 12 whose periphery is cooled and which is disposed under the vacuum vessel 11, and that the low melting metal is recovered in the recovery vessel 12. A bottom portion 13 and a side wall portion 14 of the recovery vessel 12 are separable. There is provided a partitioning member 16 for sectioning lengthwise an interior 15 of the recovery vessel 12. The member 16 is made of a refractory material which can hardly wet the low melting metal.
