Abstract:

To provide a reduce iron discharge apparatus which is a simplified one and is unlikely to be worn even with its use over a long period of time in a high temperature furnace for realization of the long life.

A reduced iron discharge apparatus is adapted such that it includes a water cooling rotary shaft rotatably supported on a frame, and a continuous spiral blade comprising a plurality of sub blades extending spirally along an outer periphery of the water cooling rotary shaft with a bolt and a nut, and the spiral blade is united in the direction of the thickness thereof, and further Vickers hardness at 900°C of the material of the spiral blade is above 110 and less than 470. Preferably, the material of the spiral blade takes Co and Cr as chief ingredients and contains W as required, or it takes Cr as a chief ingredient and contains one kind or two kinds of Ni, Co or Mn as required.
