Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce oxidized material by charging of electrons by providing a device for reducing the oxidized state of a material, which is constructed so that an electrode member is opposite to an oxidized material of an object to be processed through a dielectric, and a power circuit for applying positive potential is connected to the electrode member.
SOLUTION: In a bed-like health instrument such as an electric blanket or the like, a dielectric (b) formed by a vinyl chloride film of a thickness not exceeding 0.6mm is provided, and an electrode member (c) rich in flexibility such as a conductive nonwoven fabric of a blanket-like area is sealed between a base sheet (d) as a lining and the dielectric (b). A power supply circuit for applying voltage of 500 V or less is connected to the electrode member opposite through the dielectric (b). The material quality of the dielectric for forming a surface insulating layer preferably uses a humidity impermeable plastic film not to lower an electric resistance value due to sweat out at the time of sleeping. The oxidized material is effectively reduced by charging of electrons through application of an electric current to promote health of the human body.
