Abstract:

To provide a reduction-casting method and its casting apparatus with which the clogging in piping can be prevented.

In the reduction-casting method for reducing metallic oxidized film on the surface of molten metal filled in a cavity 12a with a reducing compound by generating the reducing compound on the cavity 12a in a forming mold 12, just front of the forming mold 12, a reaction chamber 28 for reacting metallic gas and reactive gas generating the reducing compound reacted with the metallic gas, is disposed. The reducing compound generated in this reaction chamber 28 is introduced into the cavity 12a to generate the reducing compound on the surface of the cavity 12a, and thereafter, the molten metal is filled up into the cavity 12a.
