Abstract:
To efficiently take in and out a treatment object while suppressing a temperature drop in a heat treatment part during the progress of reduction treatment in a box-shaped reduction furnace in which the heat treatment part and a treatment object storage part are connected.SOLUTION: Provided is a reduction furnace 1 that includes a box-shaped heat treatment part 11 for heating a treatment object to perform reduction treatment; and a box-shaped treatment object storage part 21 connected to a side surface of a heat treatment part 11 via a damper 111, in which the damper 111 is configured to be openable and closable by combination of a plurality of plate-like damper members 112, and is formed with a through-hole 113 through which the part of a handle 31 of a ladle 3 for charging the treatment object can be inserted at the time of closing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
