Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction method and reductor for an antioxidant by using a compact apparatus capable of supplying large amounts of hydrogen.SOLUTION: In a reduction treatment process of an antioxidant, adjusting a temperature of a lubrication oil (a reduction treatment temperature) within a range of 60-120°C by a temperature regulator 23 allows a hydrogen supply module 17 to supply sufficient amount of hydrogen to the lubrication oil. More specifically, adjusting the reduction treatment temperature at 60°C or higher increases hydrogen permeability of a hydrogen separation metal layer 27. Thereby, a surface area of a part in the hydrogen supply module 17 supplying hydrogen to the lubrication oil (i.e. the hydrogen separation metal layer 27) may not necessarily be large. Therefore, the hydrogen supply module 17 and a reductor 5 can be compact, that is, large amounts of hydrogen can be supplied by the compact apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
