Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reed screen designed not to imprint a sheet of Japanese paper made with the traces of draining perforations provided on the plate thereof, and to provide a papermaking apparatus using the reed screen.
SOLUTION: The reed screen 6 is such one that a corrugated stainless inner net 23 is laid on the nonflexible plate 22 with many draining perforations 21, a bamboo screen 24 is provided thereon, and the plate 22, the inner net 23 and the bamboo screen 24 are integrally fixed together by a relevant means such as strings.
