PURPOSE: To obtain a reflective polarization plate having excellent workability in vapor deposition and the adhesion to a film having optical transparency by pasting the polarizer surface of the laminate of said film and a polarizer and the surface of the layer deposited by evaporation via a sputtered surface on a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: The polarizer surface of the laminate of a plastic film (or sheet) having optical transparency and a polarizer and the surface of the metallic layer deposited by evaporation on a substrate via a sputtered surface are joined and pasted to each other. A non-oriented film or sheet consisting of polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene isophthalate or the like or the film or sheet produced by orienting such film or sheet on one direction alone is preferably used for plastic film or sheet having optical transparency. More specifically, a polyester film or sheet produced by orienting the above-mentioned film or sheet by ≥5% only in the axis of ordinate or abscissa then heat setting the same is preferably used in terms of chemical resistance, etc.
