Title:
REFLECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3706593
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector capable of enhancing the reflective performance of the reflector, maintaining this reflective performance over a long period of time, and further reflecting to many directions.
SOLUTION: An attaching portion 12 of the reflector is fixed to a guard rail of a road. A solar portion of a solar type light emitting body 3 is electrically charged by the solar light at day time and the light emitting diode is turned on at night. Thus, when headlight from a traveling car at night is radiated to a front panel 4, this light reflects at the front surface of a middle plate 2 treated to a reflecting surface, and this reflected light has irregular reflection at the diamond cut surface on the rear surface of the front plate 4 and functions as a sign of a car traveling together with the emited light of the light emitting diode. In addition, any dirt stuck to the front surface of the front panel 4 can be naturally peeled off by the self-purifying effect of the titanium oxide coated to the front surface. Also, a plurality of reflectors are combined together by having respective reflecting directions.
