Abstract:
To provide a reforming system in which the amount of fuel gas passing through a reforming unit at start-up can be reduced.SOLUTION: A reforming system 10 comprises a reformer 22 reforming ammonia gas to produce reformed gas containing hydrogen, a gas supply flow channel 14 in which air supplied to the reformer 22 flows, a fuel supply unit 28 supplying the ammonia gas to the reformer 22 through the gas supply flow channel 14, a reformed gas flow channel 17 in which the reformed gas produced by the reformer flows, an electric heater 21 having a heat generating element 23 arranged upstream of the reformer 22 in the gas supply flow channel 14, a housing 25 for housing the reformer 22 and the heat generating element 23, an upstream side on-off valve 19 opening/closing the gas supply flow channel 14, and a downstream side on-off valve 20 opening/closing the reformed gas flow channel 17. The reformer 22 is arranged above the heat generating element 23 in the housing 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
