Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory brick holding structure configured to reduce expansion of a brick stop so as to elongate the life of a refractory brick.SOLUTION: A refractory brick holding structure is configured to dispose a refractory brick on an inner peripheral side of a cylindrical kiln shell 11. The refractory brick holding structure includes: a rotary kiln for firing a cement raw material; and a brick stop 3 for holding the position of the refractory brick. The brick stop includes a metal stud 31 to be connected to an inner peripheral surface of the kiln shell; and a coating material 32 for coating the metal stud. The thermal linear expansion coefficient and thermal conductivity of the coating material are lower than those of the kiln shell.
