Abstract:
To provide a refractory-coated metal anchor in which, in addition to the characteristics of a metal anchor having satisfactory flexibility, the corrosion of the metal anchor from a boundary layer part between a refractory material and a heat resistant material is suppressed, and which has excellent oxidation resistance and thermal shock resistance, and a high temperature furnace with a long service life using the refractory-coated metal anchor.SOLUTION: A refractory-coated metal anchor holds a castable refractory of a furnace wall or a ceiling part in a high temperature furnace, in which an internal anchor is coated with a refractory, an iron-base fiber is dispersed into the refractory, and an oxidation weight upon holding the iron-based fiber for 24 hours in an atmosphere at 900°C is 3 mg/cm2 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
