Abstract:

To reduce a temperature difference of delivery temperatures of both compressor structures, in a refrigeration cycle apparatus connecting a second compressor structure in parallel with a first compressor structure coupled to an expander structure.

The refrigeration cycle apparatus 100 includes: a first compressor 2A; a second compressor 2B; a radiator 23; an evaporator 25; and a control device 7. The first compressor 2A includes: the first compressor structure 21; the expander structure 24; and a first electric motor 32. The second compressor 2B includes: the second compressor structure 22 that is connected in parallel with the first compressor structure 21 in a refrigerant circuit 1; and a second electric motor 34. The control device 7 performs an operation for regulating the temperature difference, wherein the first electric motor 32 is controlled to rotate at a larger rotation number than that of the second electric motor 34 in a start-up operation for starting the refrigeration cycle apparatus 100.
