To provide a refrigerating device equipped with a waste heat utilization device capable of continuing cooling even at the time of stopping of a heat engine, and capable of coping with a cooling demand even when the cooling demand is raised temporarily.
In the refrigerating device equipped with the waste heat utilization device having a refrigerating cycle 200 and a Rankine cycle 300 using the waste heat of the heat engine 10, a main compressor 210 is driven by driving force of the heat engine 10, an expander 320 has a function as a sub compressor, and is connected to a motor generator 321 having functions of both of a generator and a motor, and a switch connection flow passage 500 is provided for enabling connection to a inflow side of a condenser 220 from a suction side of the main compressor 210 through the expander 320 working as the sub compressor.
