Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator that freezes and thaws a surface layer part of food in a simple structure, thereby reduces bacteria adhering to a surface of the food, and improves preservability of the food, and a temperature control method for the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator (1) comprises a storage chamber (200) in which a cooled object is stored, a cooling part (3) comprising a refrigeration cycle for cooling an inside of the storage chamber (200), and a control part (8) for controlling the cooling part (3). The control part (8) causes the cooling part (3) to execute a first process for generating ice crystals in a surface layer part of the cooled object without freezing a center part of the cooled object, and a second process for thawing the ice crystals generated in the surface part by the first process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
