To provide a refrigerator whose drip tray structure is improved so as to improve the distribution of cooling temperatures inside the refrigerator and to increase effective storage space.
The refrigerator has a plate-shaped cooler 7 positioned close to one side of the ceiling part of a storage space 6, and a drip tray 9 provided in proximity to the downside of the cooler and throughout almost the entire width of a storage compartment. Air holes 11 are cut through the side faces of a plurality of ribs 10 formed on the surface of the drip tray opposed to the cooler. The air holes 12 get smaller in opening area from the front to the rear. A food tray 9b is formed on the surface of the drip tray between the end of the cooler and the other side of the storage compartment.
