To keep a water storage tank at a low temperature by rapidly cooling water to be supplied to the water storage tank, in a water supply device for a refrigerator provided with a direct cooling cooler.
This refrigerator is provided with the water supply device 11 provided on the door 10 of a refrigerating room 9, the water supply tank 12 provided in the inside of the refrigerating room 9, a water supply pipe 13 connecting the water storage tank 12 and the water supply device 11, and the direct cooling cooler 14 cooling the refrigerating room 9. A cooling plate 15 extending from the cooler 14 and an air guider 17 having a delivery port 21 leading cold air from the cooler 14, are provided above the water storage tank 12, and a space part 18 is formed between the cooling plate 15 and the wall surface of the refrigerating room. Accordingly, cold air convection to the water storage tank 12 by cold air cooled with the direct cooling cooler 14 can be accelerated, the water storage tank 12 can be rapidly cooled and kept at the low temperature, and the usability of the water supply device 11 can be improved.
