As this refrigerator 102 provided with the inside lamp 110 for lighting the refrigerating compartment 101, further comprises an inside temperature detecting means 108 for detecting a temperature in the refrigerating compartment 101, and an inside lamp power distribution control means 112 for controlling the lighting of the inside lamp 110 according to a temperature change pattern in the refrigerating compartment 101, the opening/closing of the door is detected thereby, and the power supply to the inside lamp 110 can be switched ON and OFF.
