Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator having effects of decomposing odor, sterilizing, and preventing dirt in a compartment without using an ultraviolet irradiation means and capable of storing vegetables and fruit for a long period by dissolving gas components such as ethylen and acetoaldehyde released from the vegetables and fruit.
At least a part of the inside of a storage compartment is coated with a paint containing visible light responsive tungsten oxide photocatalyst powder. The paint has a color of -5 or lower in a*, -5 or higher in b*, and 50 or higher in L* when the color of the tungsten oxide photocatalyst powder is indicated by an L*a*b* color system.
