Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that can be prevented from falling when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a body part 2 including a plurality of storage chambers 5-9; a door 19 for sliding back and forth to open/close the lowermost storage chamber 9; a housing case 19a for sliding integrally with the door 19; a driving device 50 for opening the door 19; and a vibration sensor 70 for detecting vibration of the body part 2. When the vibration detected by the vibration sensor 70 is larger than a predetermined value, vibration time opening operation for opening the door 19 by the driving device 50 is performed.
