Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of supplying sufficient moisture to a vegetable chamber.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a refrigeration chamber; a vegetable chamber which is provided with first moisture detection means; a compressor which compresses coolant; a cooler which cools air in the refrigerator using evaporation heat of the coolant supplied from the compressor; a cooling chamber which is provided with the cooler; a blower fan which blows air; a first air path which communicates with the refrigeration chamber from the cooling chamber; a second air path which communicates with the vegetable chamber from the cooling chamber; a damper which limits an amount of air flowing through the first air path; and control means which drives the blowing fan while stopping supply of the coolant to the cooler from the compressor, performs a defrosting operation for melting frost adhering to the cooler and controls the damper on the basis of the detection by the first moisture detection means in the defrosting operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
